A late night after some drama over the Polling Day , as the ‘All- Whites’ of Singapore obtained reasonable result , Tusser will thus hoping to emulate them to give a good account of ourselves in the match against BIFC.
Alas , Tusser slipped up in their quest to further their strength hold in the division. BI & Tusser hosted a 6 goal thriller in Turf City. Pre match revealed that BI missed several host of 1st team regulars whereas Tusser had a healthy attendance with all key players back from exam/injuries. The Tusser camp was beaming with confidence after their 2 wins over BI but always will be warned against complacency as BI will be more than determined to get one over us.
Tusser opted for a more combative 4-5-1. BI got an unexpected lead through a corner, as the ball swept thru the Tusser defense to an unmarked BI player who headed home. A sloppy goal to give away but Tusser got a reprieve themselves when the BIFC standing keeper mis controlled a simple pass and the ball unexpectedly trickled into the net. 1-1 and still less than half of the 1st period gone. Shern shone out in the fullback role. His crunching & timely tackles really speak for the Tusser back four. The second goal was courtesy of this hard work to win back a ball from defense and delivered a marvelous cross field pass to Erwin who himself with a well controlled first touch thumped home the ball. The tactics works well for Tusser as they quickly crowded players once the opposition got the ball.
With a host of reserves in the bench, Tusser made wholesale changes in bid to give these players a run out. Hao who was consistent has to sit out for the second half as his bristles got worse. The changes must unsettled Tusser, as they looked edgy in the beginning of the second half. Tong began to spring into life as he combined with his brother who the latter cross for Aaron to slot home a third for Tusser. The team was overjoyed after on the backfoot from the early exchanges. BIFC never looked satisfied, as they began to pile on the pressure to restore back some pride. From a free kick, Wenjie wonderfully tipped over a header. Amazingly, the always reliable Wenjie allowed a in- curling corner to crept over him. Score now 3-2. Minutes later, BI won a penalty, but Wenjie somehow redeemed himself to parry out the shot to safety. You would have thought the save must have rejuvenated Tusser who would be looking to defense in numbers for the remaining time. The hat trick of wins against BIFC cannot be materializing as they finished a promising attack to restore parity.
Really 3 cheers for both teams as they have utmost respect for each other. This spells danger for the rest of the teams in the league as the 2 LOCAL teams are playing wonderful football. Good luck for both teams as BIFC will hope for a good finish to stay close to ISA and Tusser will be hoping stay clear of the relegation zone.

We managed to climb a spot over racing virtue of a better goal difference. But we will be hoping to pull away from them as next week we will be involved in a 6 pointer against Racing. For the second week running , another old guard showed the team why another oldie top the chart for MOM list. The President of the club forsake his attacking abilities for the club to deputise in defence for the last few matches and he was absolutely flawless in all his tackles and passing. Thanks to Steven for the cold drinks ( 100plus/Gatorade)
-we also welcome Joseph who is a striker , he will show us more of himself in the coming weeks
