Tusser fielded a reasonably strong side with a couple of positional changes to spice things up for this 6 pointer. We are building on a 3 match UN beaten run. But Tusser failed to gain ground from the chasing pack. And with elsewhere results against us, we finished this week bottom of the league.
We got off to a bad start, conceding a goal within 5 minutes when a volley bounced over Wenjie off the wicked Sentosa pitch. Tusser stormed back to score almost immediately when Tusser beat the offside trap when Wan ran from deep before passing to Royston for a simple tap-in. After the early Tusser pressure, and also our failure to capitalize, Racing began to apply their own pressure as they use the width of the pitch and their height to their advantage. HT, 1-1
Racing took the lead from a free kick outside the box when the taker smashed it to the top corner with the keeper stranded. Tusser strikers have few chances to level the match and their shooting accuracy deserted them to an alarmingly degree. Racing added one more as we are caught in the back while trying to put more men forward. That prove to be too much for Tusser to comeback even the impressive Tong could not pull a rabbit out of his magical hat to help Tusser turn the tide.
An incident mars the good nature of the game, Royston was deemed to raise his foot high in a 50-50 ball, and there is definitely no malicious nature... Without hesitation, the referee flashed the red card much to the astonishment of both camps. Hard luck for Royston when he finally decides to put in a full blooded challenge for a long time and was punished for it.
Lineup : Wenjie,wan,lanxer,z-hao,shern,peng,francis,aaron,Royston,fatt,Erwin

Wan get the pick for MOM as utilize his unlimited energy and made forays down the flank. Time is not on our side, we have 4 more games to save our Season. On paper, we have one of the strongest team lines up for years and we will have to convert all these into points. Francis got a sprain on his last finger while standing in for wenjie in the 2nd half.
We will take a break from league action and contest against Orchard Rovers (seeded 2nd).
For the 1st time this season, we will be playing Katong pitch which is one of the smallest pitches that ESPZEN have.
