The much anticipated annual match up between the Senior and Elite went ahead amid some hiccups of venue. Yet again , someone UP there wants to make things difficult for us. The original venue at Meridien JC was supposedly cancelled but almost all members have reached their on time. But due to quick thinking from Steven , we eventually without hassle switched to Fernvale Pitch.

To kick off the event , our generous Sponsor Mr Morimoto was on hand to deliver a opening speech . Club President Shern followed up with a speech of his own.
While waiting for the referee to come , both side have their warm up session. Both side enjoy a wonderful attendance of around 18 each. A group photograph was taken also.
Although it’s a goalless match , the match was filled with heart stopping moments. Apparently the Senior keeper Desmond palmed away everything the Elite threw at him and was rightly the MOM for senior. On the other side, Wan impressed with his industrious work in full back role. A slight downpour made the spectator scamper for shelter but it does not matter for those players who braved the rain.
It took Ian & Beh Dao to miss their spot kick to let Elite retain the Trophy for another year. Koon, James, Eugene, Peng, Derek, Wan all converted theirs. Really a Tusser version of the World Cup finale. I bet those residents in Fernvale must be wondering as if they was watching extended coverage of Channel 27. Haha
Views : Yet another milestone in record books of Tusser , the attendance have surpassed yester years where we barely managed to gather enough player for 2 teams. Lets all helped to keep this tradition going. Who knows we could be holding the event next year in National Stadium.
